Tuesday the 21st July 2026 was a glorious day, and at 6:30pm Broughton House opened its doors to welcome 45 Members and Visitors to The Stewartry Literary Society Biennial Summer Party. Guest harpist Kirsty Anderson played a selection of Scottish and Irish traditional music on her Clarsach. July 2026 – Funding from The Galloway Association of Glasgow
The Stewartry Literary Society recently made a Funding Application to The Galloway Association of Glasgow. Formed in 1791, the Association provides financial support for charitable, benevolent or educational purposes associated with Galloway, and encourages a love for and interest in Galloway.
